We have instrumented the official's equipment (whistle, penalty flag, challenge flag, and bean bag) with sensors, microcontrollers, and radios allowing for the digitization of the signals and transmission across a network to a variety of endpoints, including instant replay video, scoreboard, player equipment, play clock, and much more.
